Collapse is composed of more than 13 spiral shapes cut from 54" wallpaper squares. The dimensions and form of the installed work vary at each installation.
These works are created using remnants from other creative endeavors. They are built, sometimes to grand proportions, from the scraps of other works. Tarp, for example, was created from the left over corners created when sewing the spiral shapes for my work Point. Crazy, was created from the leftover bits that came from the production of Cascade.
Current was an installation of works at the Buffalo Arts Studio in 2017. The installation included an iteration of the constantly changing and evolving spiral work, here called "Point," as well as 6 rope paintings. The paintings are on canvas hung unstretched on the wall. They gently moved and undulated as air currents flowed through the gallery.
